September is for essentials

Anyone else feeling the summer burn-out? Asking for a friend.

I feel so grateful to be living a life where I have too many good things on the horizon… but the burn out is real, so I have officially dubbed this month “Essential September”.

Sometimes a little self discipline devotion is required to feed the fire of what’s ahead. That can look like making extra time with friends or doing things that nourish your soul (ie getting into nature), or sometimes it can look more like spending less time socializing and more time setting the scene for your next magical act. Either way, remember that it’s okay (and sometimes vital) to rearrange your life for your personal season. (And btw- communicating your needs to others goes a long ways and is strongly encouraged).

The best version of you is the version who knows when to press the breaks, and when to put that pedal to the metal, baby!

Both are valuable. Both show devotion. BOTH ARE ESSENTIAL.

If you’re in the boat of needing some extra community or nourishment, I’d love to share some upcoming gatherings! If what you currently need is a “less is more” approach, I insist you to stop reading this email as an act of devotion to yourself - and also avoid FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).
